traveling from Taman Negara to Perhentians

what's the best way to get from Taman Negara to the Perhentian Islands?

i'm going to be traveling from Taman Negara to the Perhentians and haven't been able to figure out the most efficient way to do it by train or bus. Has anyone else done this route before?

Well I haven't been to Taman Negara .. But as i know Taman Negara in the state of Pahang and Perhantian Island I think it Kota Bharu ,, there should be a way to there. My Advice is buy your self the Lonely Planet Malaysia Book and it will tell you how to reach to Perhantian from Taman Negara.

Yes,Taman Negara is in the state of Pahang but perhentian island is in the state of Terengganu, located at the border between Terengganu and Kelantan,so the best way to reach there is from Kota Bharu (approxiamtely 45 minutes) not Terengganu (2 and half hrs). any details please log to our website www.kb-backpackers.com.my

If you travel by Bus or Train from Taman Negara you will going to Kota Bharu (bus) or Wakaf Baru ( Train) Your last stop then you can take bus or taxi go to Kuala Besut Jetty ( 1 hour ) depends on traffic .

Alternative solution is by tour operator from Taman Negara direct to Kuala Besut Jetty ( Perhentian island ) save your time and money. the journey will take 6 hour .

If you need reservation at Perhentian island ,i would like to recommended this website www.depenarikbeach.com.my .Offering nice budget and value of money..
