I (along with my wife and 2 year old son) will be travelling to Thailand this October for a total of 2 weeks. We plan on spending 3 or 4 nights in Bangkok, after which we would like to go to Koh Samui and/or Phuket. Does anyone know if they offer good package deals in Bangkok to these destinations? I would be looking for Air / accomodation. Should I go trhough travel agents or should I be booking through the Hotel that I will be staying at? I am still unsure of which hotel I'll be staying at in BKK but will probably be somewhere in the Sukhumvit road area. | Flights seem quite expensive from Bangkok to Koh Samui. Bangkok Air came in at approx. USD 700+ for the 3 of us. I'm not sure I want to pay that much. Any help / suggestions would be most apprecaited. Thanks guys. But i dont have a good idea about Hotels/ Air packages. Maybe you can book your hotels in advance through the net and buy your tickets from BKK it self. Try to ask about Ticket prices once u reach BKK Airport. I remmber during 2005 the ticket price were around 100 USD up and down from BKK to Phuket. I dont think so prices has jumped that much! I hope you will find a better answers from other tourists because i cant help much.
