Jillianmarie Jillian Post Count: 1 Msg: #1 42 days ago, July 26th 2008 | I will be traveling to Costa Rica in September and I am looking for any suggestions as to where in stay my 1st night in San Jose. My flight gets in around 9pm so I would prefer a hotel that has airport pick up. My budget is a bit flexible but I would like to stay around $30 a person. Also I will be traveling with my boyfriend so I would prefer a private room. The Barcelo is my favorite. They messed up my room one tme and comped champagne and lowered the room price. They were truly concerned about the mistake they made. Holiday Inn is located in an area I don't like, but the hotel is very nice. Avenue, about 100 meters south of the Museo Nacional across the street from Colegio de Senoritas(that's a real joke.....especially in Costa Rica) Alfie is from South Africa and a real nice guy.
