| I had a great trip up on Put-in-Bay, an island in Lake Erie. Let me tell you about it. | |||||||||||||||

Based on a ton of online recommendations, my group rented a golf cart from E's Golf Carts (http://www.esgolfcarts.com) located at the top of the hill. The staff was very friendly and gave us a great deal on a cart. From there we hit a few stores in the downtown strip, basically consisting of a few restaurants and a lot of bars. We then circled around the island and found a winery, where we had a few bottles of local wine. We stopped back downtown to eat dinner at a place called Mossbacks Restaurant (http://mossbacksatputinbay.com) and couldn't have been more pleased. The perch and walleye baskets we ordered must have come out of the lake that morning, they were so fresh. To cap off our trip, we headed down to the west side of the island on our golf cart and caught the most beatiful sunset. We returned our cart, got back on the ferry, and sailed back to reality. I used to have a boat in Leamington Ontario and would travel over past Pelee Island over to South Bass Island (Put in Bay) and enjoyed everything about the place: the golfcarts, the live bands, the beer, the scenery, the boating etc. Let me know about any future trips. | Thanks Cameron Number of Users: 2 | Number of Posts: 2 | ||||||||||
