MamaJ JN Nave Post Count: 2 Msg: #1 59 days ago, July 9th 2008 | Am in early stages of planning October trip to Costa Rica to visit my child (college student) who will be studying Spanish at a language institute in San Joaquin de Flores. Are there good places to stay in this town? Would I be better off staying in Heredia? If so, what kind of transporation could I use to get to San Joaquin de Flores? Would also welcome specific suggestions of day excursions for when my child is busy with classes. I plan to stay about 10 days. The degree of spanish taught is much better than what the "ticos" speak!
