kiwisailor Rod Martin Post Count: 2 Msg: #1 63 days ago, July 7th 2008 | Trying to get some update on the new bus that runs from Qui Nhon across the border to Pakse in Laos. | Are visas available on arrival at the Lao border? How long is the bus trip? What time/days do the buses run? Cost? Address of the new Kiwibarbara backpackers in Qui Nhon? Thanks Kiwisailor Mell Mel Fla Post Count: 3636 Msg: #2 63 days ago, July 7th 2008 | Hello Rod :) | Yes visas are available at the Lao border but I heard the authorities are temperamental so it is not such a great idea to wait until the border to get them. From Pleiku - continue to Dakto (belong to KonTum province) about 120 km. From Dakto to Bo Y Border (name in Vietnam) and Pakse in Laos - 20 km. It takes about 7 hours for driver. Go there by private bus. About Kiwibarbara: I will check exactly information and inform later if having. Thanks. KimUyen Number of Users: 3 | Number of Posts: 3 | |||||||||||
