UNDERWAY Jim & Ann Blanchard Post Count: 1 Msg: #1 115 days ago, June 18th 2008 | After spending two or three weeks in Thailand, Swiming and sunning, I have noticed the nails and hair have started to grow at tremendous speed. I have had manicure and pedicure, shave and haircut a week ago and am ready for another go. | Any ideas from other travelers ? Have you noticed this as well ? Is it the water? Rice? I'm at a loss. Mine is already very long but whenever I spend some time in Thailand it gets really soft and shiney. I really have no clue what causes it. I guessed it must be the water in Thailand. The water where we live in Germany has a lot of calcium(if that is what the white stuff that clogs up coffee makers and builds a layer on the inside of the kettle and waterpipes is) so I presume if I wash my hair in it, it will be different than washing it in places without calcium in the water. It could be just the warmer climate that does this (hair is known to grow faster in the summer), or the extra vitamin D we get from the sun. | Number of Users: 4 | Number of Posts: 4 | ||||||||||||
