However, you can consider buying one from walmart or target.. it will cost you around $30+.. Bearing in mind I'll be there in September so should be warm enough. | I think it might be a better way to experience California than staying in motels/B&B's plus the parks should be quite cool? Sounds like a plan to me! | Coastal area might be a bit cold... however, noway below zero... may be around 10-20 C. Sleeping bag would cost you around $14-20... If you want warmer, then probably $30.
