skippity do da anna cosentine Post Count: 4 Msg: #1 130 days ago, June 3rd 2008 | Hi there! | We are traveling China in August/september, and wanted to put a shoutout to fellow travelers...Wondering if any wayfaring souls have seen/ experienced/ know of places or people who might make a good documentary...Have you said to yourself "Hey THIS would make a great story!!??" We don't necessarily want to document the olympics, but venture on to outer realms, bring back a little piece of China for our film fest.... She lived in the US for a long time, started volunteering and has come back to China and is motivating the spirit of volunteerism here. She is a real "firecracker" of a lady. I have made real inroads into the community through her. If you message me privately with more details, I can forward them to her. |  the soul cultivator Claire Hall Post Count: 23 Msg: #4 127 days ago, June 6th 2008 | Im here in China now and have just left Xian where a man from Preston UK sold everything he owned and left his high paid job in financing to go travelling, he came to Xian (terracotta soilders land) and was struck by how many homeless people there are here, and no one does anything for them. So with his own cash and much curiosity for the government he started the very first soup kitchen. I went along and helped out and I shall be writing up that blog soon.
