Malaysia Airlines are offering discounted companion fares to destinations including Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, and Bali on tickets bought before November 15th.
Essentially if you buy a ticket, a friend travels for around half price. For Business Class and First Class customers the savings are significantly higher (as are the initial costs!!)

There are also similar discounts being offered to
Taipei. Offer open till 15th Nov. Tickets are valid from now till 30th Nov. Then from January 16th till March 31st.
Tickets do not include airport taxes and surcharges - approx. $100 per ticket.
