Korea, 2 weeks in Thailand, 1 week in Cambodia, 2 weeks in Vietnam, and 1 week in Loas. We are bringing a compact digital camera (Olympus Stylus 600 6.0 MP) and a digital video camera (Panasonic SDR-SW20, Flash Media.) We had only decided to take this trip less than a month ago and are having trouble planning where to go and what to do, and most importantly what to do to protect our pictures and videos. | Also, if anyone has been to these countries and has any suggestions on what to do I would greatly appreciate the help. Sincerely, K & A Casey Lary Casey Lary Post Count: 26 Msg: #2 54 days ago, May 12th 2008 | When I travel, I always have 2 memory cards. When one fills up I make 2 copies of the CDs and when I accumulate enough I send one home. I always keep them in separate parts of my suitcase. Additionally, I have a google account so I put them on picasaweb. Flickr is another option. Picasa offers more storage space for free. Then when they are online, I often had my brother download them. I also carried an ipod and stored them on there as well. If you don't have an ipod, look into purchasing a small hard drive of like 20 gigs to put your material on. I had some cds that scratched, but fortunately somehow got all my photos in one way or another! | I would spend 2 weeks in Japan and 1 week in S korea, but I am biased bc I lived there. I only went to Seoul in S. Korea so can't tell you too much. If you want ideas on japan my blog is all about it. Tokyo, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Koya-san, Mt. Fuji...lots of great things. my favorite place in Thailand was Koh Tao. I loved Angkor Wat. My favorite in Vietnam was the north- Sapa/Hanoi/Halong. My favorite thing in Laos was the Gibbon Experience. Have a great time! Mell Mel Fla Post Count: 2330 Msg: #3 54 days ago, May 13th 2008 | Hello KA :) | I moved this to the photography forum.
