It is the rainy season but most of the rain conveniently falls at night. During the day there are lots of warm sunny hours with sometimes a few hours of rain. Now and again it rains all day but that really is now and again unless you get very unlucky. One problem you might have is getting to the islands if you intend to go by boat.
