When in Rome...

HI Everyone,
Well we have arrived in Rome. It is so warm here. I am actually quite sunburnt at the moment, damn French Riviera weather!
We spent the day looking around Rome today. We went to St Peter's Cathedral. It just so happened that the Pope was giving a service, so I got to see him. He was heaps far away though. Feeling very Holy at the moment.
My thoughts on Italy so far... not as beautiful as France, but enjoying it all the same. The food is fantastic - loving the pizza, pasta and Gelati!
Well off to Venice tomorrow. Hopefully the accommodation is better than the shoe box we're in at the moment!!

Well as you know, Tessa and I are going on a Contiki tour through Europe on the 1st of May 2008.
I'm really excited and can't wait to go. I'm looking forward to meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, and having as much fun as I could possibly have.
