Farewell Barcelona, Hello Central Europe

Unfortunately, this is the last little bit I will be writing in my blog for a while. My program is now over (so sad), and soon I will be moving out of my senora’s house and starting my adventure around Europe. I will have some internet along the way, but probably not a lot of time to use it. I am traveling with my friend Brittany, who also goes to CU, but who I didn’t know before this program. In June, my other friend, Niki, who is currently studying in France will meet up with us and we will travel together until her dad and my family come to visit! We bought Eurail train passes, so we are free to move about the countries on the dates that we choose.

Here is a quick itinerary of the places we plan on going:

San Sebastian, Spain
Southern France (Nice, Cannes, Monaco)
Paris
Brussels, Belgium
Amsterdam
Hamburg, Germany
Prague, Czech Republic
Budapest, Hungary
Salzburg, Austria
Innsbruck, Austria
Gimmerwald and Interlocken, Switzerland
Munich - meet niki here, brittany leaves and heads back to barcelona
Vienna, Austria
poland - krakow, warsaw - we are going to check out nazi concentration and extermination camps such as auschwitz
i will leave from warsaw back to barcelona around june 11 or 12 and hang out with the vallcorbas until the fam comes on the 19th

I am expected to arrive back in the states on June 26th and then start readjusting back to real life again. I say real life because my time here has felt like one really long vacation. Even though I was in school, I traveled almost every weekend and got to experience so many different cultures and amazing things! This surely has been a once-in-a-life-time experience for me, and I have no regrets about any of it!
