I could barely contain my excitement this morning as I finish packing and getting ready. Last minute of course. We arrived at the airport at 9:45am to check in our luggage and go through security. I am always that person that gets stopped when going through security. It doesn't matter how much I prepare myself so that I don't get stopped, I still get stopped. Going through security they swab the handle of my carry on, I'm assuming to see if there is any bomb residue because I look like that kind of person. We boarded our first plane that would take us from OKC to Washington DC. Hello amateur pilot! This was probably my roughest flight as we were preparing to land in Washington DC we suddenly dropped God knows how many feet, which left ... read more

Today is the day, we fly out of the U.S., and we are going to the great U.K. . I would like to give thanks to my good friend Michael Gholami for having a discussion with me about going. I had no plans on going until Michael talked to me about it. I've never flew before and I did pretty well for being a first time flyer. We flew from Oklahoma City Oklahoma to Washington Dulles Air-Port, then to London. The flight from Washington to London was 6 hours. The flight was long, but i was pleased because the food was pretty good.... read more

MARCH 12th Today is the first day of our Wales trip. However, it is really just a travel day. We all flew out of Oklahoma City at noon. We landed in Washington, and then flew to London. This was a total of around 12 hours in the airport. We then got onto our bus, and drove for another four hours to SWANSEA!!!. There is a 6 hour time difference between the U.S. and the U.K., so it is now time to start DAY 2!... read more

Today I woke up bright and early so I could grab me a quick bite to eat because it was free. After breakfast I went back into my room and showered, dressed, and met everyone outside so we could head to Swansea University. We caught another bus to the University, but we got off the bus before it could drop us off at the right location. We had a difficult time searching for the school, because we so we walked at least 2 miles to find this University, and i'm a big guy so I am not a fan of walking. We finally arrived at our destination. The University is nice and small. We met with our clients so we could discuss new things, and create ideas with them. Later on after our discussions with ... read more

I've sportblogged: www.sportisglobal.blogspot.com Please read it. Then, you may read this: 1) Interesting to Dad and his seafaring mates, I'm sure. 2) Interesting to anyone attending MY stag in July. 3) VERY interesting to anyone who knows Michelle Prestleton - because she's the bride! Stag party rescued by lifeboat off Mumbles Head A 10-strong stag party have been rescued after one of their two high-speed boats suffered engine failure on a trip across the Bristol Channel. The group, from the Midlands, were heading to Swansea from Devon when the problem occurred. A lifeboat was scrambled at 1700 BST on Saturday and picked up two of the party who were suffering from mild exposure. A Mumbles lifeboat spokesperson said the group continued the stag celebrations in Swansea. The six-metre rib vessel - or rigid inflatable boat - ... read more

Another top day back in Wales was spent catching up with Leri on the Gower Peninsula, starting with lunch and a walk in Mumbles and then a day driving to the end, exploring such places as Three Cliffs Bay (a bay with three cliffs) and Port Eynon (big wide expansive beach) near the end of the road. Unfortunately, we spent too much time talking to really explore the place, and we've put it back on the list of places to re-visit and do justice. The weather was fantastically sunny and warm all day, although Leri assured us this is the normal state of things year-round in South Wales. And a big plus was that we saw plenty of examples of imported NZ cabbage trees and flax, just to make us feel at home!... read more

Well, fortunately, the weather gods continue to smile upon us and today was another great Welsh day with the sun shining and not much wind around. Breakfast was early once again - 8 o’clock to fit everything we had to do today. Again, the sick count is starting to climb - having the boys in such close confines is spreading the bugs pretty quickly -and we had a few more looking down this morning. It wasn’t until later in the day that we realised just how bad it is getting - more on that later. We left the hotel at 9 for the inaugural under 15s paintball challenge - this was really what the tour was about - Dads V boys in the real version of Call of Duty! It was half way back to ... read more

20 hours until we take off from Heathrow, so this is our last day in the wet and windy UK. Having spent the last 12 days buying enough kit to collapse an elephant, and enough drugs to keep even Cardiff's finest junkies happy, we're just about ready to go! We leave Rhians parents in a matter of hours and head to the bright lights of Watford to stay with my grandparents, before waking them up at 4am to say goodbye, I think we're both excited and nervous at the same time, and today we get the pleasure of taking our first Malaria tablet, should be fun, Rhian has taken them before and says they are horrible. I'm looking forward to it as much as I would bread and dripping. This is probably our only post before ... read more
