cream tea and thunder

This afternoon we drove over to Dolgellau to meet Frank, Margaret and Co. for a cream tea. Well, it was a glorious sunny afternoon, though clouds formed as we gobbled the scones, until there was a clap of thunder and a deluge of rain. Luckily we were under umbrellas. Though Martin did a mercy dash to the car to get a special Auntie Gwen brolly! Then the sun returned and we dried off as we had a look round the town.

Needless to say, no rain here, and my water butts are very low. However that can be, its only April. What happened to the showers?
