June- Wonderful Wales has now turned into wet Wales. We've had to do alot of sitting in the van and watch the rain splatter on the hills which are somewhere behind the clouds. I've even had to sit and have deep and meaningful conversations with Nik, what is the world coming to.
Well we've wiggled our way up the West coast, camped at the bottom of Cadir idris and got some funny looks off the toilet attendant in the morning. made the homage to Beddgelert where we took the compulsory photo of Gelert's grave and then made our way to LLanberis.
We conquered Snowdon and stuck a Union jack in the top, suprisingly abou t a million people had beaten us to it. Not only that, there's actually a train to the top. The line, of course served another purpose. TC overcame his fear of heights only to be left on the line, Nik's intention being that he may get his head chopped off. It didn't work. Four weeks and already as far as Wales, next stop Liverpool.

mountain .... yet. We are spending this weekend with friends so some temporary indulgance and a break from the romany lifestyle is welcome. Even though the weather hasnt been ideal I must say Wales has a lot going for it. The scenery is awesome and the people seem friendly even if I cant understand what they are saying. You can usually tell a lot from facial expressions and good gesticulation i.e. 'you cant camp here its private ' and 'why are you looking in my bin'etc. In 2 weeks we will be at Junes family in Cumbria when we will hopefully have more time to put together a more informative account of our travels and some pictures.
