SUICIDE BRITAIN! - Understanding the English Disease…
Like lemmings running over a cliff; something is happening to human beings caught up in unnatural changes. And whilst it doesn’t just happen in Great Britain; there seems to be odd parallels with isolated incidents of self harm that is going on all around the world…
My friend Michael from Germany , a seasoned traveller once put it to me like this: “the machine and the man is constantly at war with itself!” - It will stop only when man breaks down…! That is happening today.
In the 21st century , we have so much comfort and life you might say ..life has never been better. And yet we read about teenagers and young people hanging themselves like lemmings in Wales. We see now that there seems to be also a spate of suicides amongst police officers… from the top down… - what is it? How do explain it? What are the correlations? What are the parallels…
Your clever psychologists will explain it as stress or pressure related… but its far more deeper than that. Jesus says we need to shake off the burdens of the world and wear the armour of light. We need to overcome… BUT HOW? - its only by faith and hope in Christ … for HE IS THE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL…
In Christian terms we see it very simply. It is a Spirit of Death that has gripped the psyche - the soul of the nation that has rejected God. People see their connection with God as unnecessary. But even amongst the Hopi Indian; the spiritual connection with the Great Spirit was always imperative.
Jesus says He has come into the world to bring the LIGHT OF LIFE… this means that the inner man is enlightened and lives by that light…
The English disease is so known as depression… the weather , the stress levels, the oppressive, the spiritual poverty in this land all contribute to bring depression into a persons soul… where that however crosses over into self destruct is when hopeless comes into the soul… where there is NO hope, NO light at the end of the tunnel… and everything all seems so pointless.
There comes then the spirit of death . Also what happens is that because sin or missing the mark separates us from God - this too helps . Movies like “ RING” or The Blair Witch project” or depressive music that glorifies death like Marylyn Manson… and others. None of which BRINGS life… it instead expresses HOW the soul of the youth is feeling and nurses those spiritual sores.
It is only when we discover that there is everlasting joy in coming to the light… it is only when we find that Jesus is alive … and by crucifying and mocking him and his grace; we reject that spirit of life…and hope.
The world is a cynical place. People find it easy to mock and curse God… but still they all go lemming like into the whirlpool of self destruction… RUNNING away …and ALWAYS on the run from the SOURCE of LOVE AND PEACE..!
So as more of the Metropolitan police run into a self destructive mode- unable to cope with the pressures of everyday life , unable to understand that it is only through God that all of it makes sense… THEN - we will see an end to what I call SUICIDE BRITAIN!
Essentially , this nation needs major deliverance from this evil dark spirit that is claiming lives, families and futures.
Without God at the centre of our lives , we will not know Peace. To reject God is better not to be born… why- because without God - you will not know who you are… and all the money in the world, all the fame and status and youth …. And good looks- all of it … will mean nothing… Know God , know peace, No God , NO peace!-
We cannot pretend that everything is ok… its not… and unless this nation becomes spiritually nourished… it will continue to hurl its policemen and bright stars lemming like over the cliff ; into the abyss. This Spirit has also permeated into the church and no one is exempt.
My Heart and my prayers go out to all the loved ones who are grieving for those that have been lost to this awful phenomenon. I only urge you all to seek the way of the master… for in it there is LIFE… and life ETERNAL… AMEN
