Just a quick note, it's late and I've got to get to bed. I'm leaving tomorrow for Dublin, catching an 11am bus from Glasgow, I should get there around 11pm. I don't know yet what Joel's plans are, so I'm not sure when he'll arrive in Dublin but we'll work that out as it happens, I'm sure. I've already booked a room in a hostel, so I have nothing to worry about immediately arriving in Dublin, except maybe some food.

On the 28th we went to the seaside, stopped in Largs and wandered the coast a bit, visited some candy shops and had icecream. It was really nice, and a beautiful drive. Today, the 29th, we drove into Glasgow to check out the Glasgow Climbing Centre. It was great! Very nice gym, lots of walls, lots of variety, several different types of walls, a great bouldering area and some great staff. The interesting thing is it's inside an old church, and you still have the beautiful roof and some stone still visible. Top notch gym though, good prices too. We had a blast, were there for a couple hours I think. I ended up chatting with someone who's moving to the island in the fall with his girlfriend, who'll be going to school at Uvic. He had lots of questions about climbing in the area, didn't know squat, even if we had mountains. Needless to say, after describing the area and the endless great climbing within mere hours of here he can hardly wait the 8 months til he immigrates. Apparently good outdoor climbing is pretty sparse in the UK, and usually difficult to get to.

We played pictionary tonight, and I've decided to keep my day job.

Gonna head off the computer though, I'm bushed. Long day, but fun. Talk to you all soon,

Soon to be in pub heaven,
~Bev
