A very angry cat here, doing hand actions and all. Having difficulties with the company, cos I don't want all my tickets booked to London. I want to be free. They don't understand. Well they do, but it makes it more complex for them, so therefore they don't wanna help. ANYWAY, enough bitching by me.
Run down of the last week... think I was in Derry last I wrote...
DERRY
It was kinda scary here, the graffiti over the 'london' on all the roadsigns approaching the city were an obvious reminder that not so long ago this wasn't the safest of places. And I hated the theatre here, cos the foyer was big and echoy. And I couldn't understand the accent. There was general unhappiness on my behalf. However I got onto the Guiness and life was good. We had about 3 days here, before driving to...
BELFAST
I quite liked Belfast. And we had an awesome hotel... The Europa. Apparently it used to get bombed a lot and is famous and stuff. I wouldn't know. Anyway, across from the Europa is an awesome pub - The Crown. Its heritage listed and all, complete with a live webcam apparently. So I was here every night. Except for the one night there was a gas leak and we were all asked to take our drinks and leave. Yes, they let us take our drinks and stand outside and drink them. Hooray. Along with the decent pub next door to the Crown and the pizza shop down the alley way, it was definately the best hotel we've had. We even got a rubber ducky in our bath rooms. Though the hotel bar was very very lame. But there was full breakfast. I broke my own record by eating a 5 course breakfast one morning, I was very proud. After 4 nights here, we set off across the sea again, to..
GLASGOW
I am currently in a crap hotel room, watching the world cup and cursing the Fimbles. Oh and Im drinking red wine. Yum. Realised the other night how unusual my life has become, when I couldn't remember the last time I had sat down and eaten dinner, nor could I remember the last time I hadn't needed a nightcap to finish off the night. Usually when we have a nightcap, I have atleast 3 more drinks... I'm quite liking whiskey with water.. Ivan was onto something!
How good was Oz Vs Japan. We were driving at the time, but still got rather excited. Although I was a bit peaky after a ferry ride (and a game of cards which I got angry at, so openly sabotaged by loosing repeatedly) I managed to get excited when we won. I'm still excited, cos I can brag about how Oz has scored more goals this world cup than england... wont last long but.
Anyway, . I'm doing good, being good (except from the odd temper trantrum when anyone mentions that we get 4 days off at 'home' next week). Trying to get hold of the bo (love your last entry) to get bladdered in Edinburgh in 2 weeks when Im there. And I spend day in day out selling tat. Thats right tat. Basically its all good.
Hope everything is well at 'home'.
Love and hugs
Cat
