Skye Bridge
The bridge was much less impressive than I had imagined.

Heavy snow did not stop us on the 29th of December 2005 from hiring the 7-seater van, packing it full of warm / waterproof clothes and provisions for the next four days and heading into the Scottish Highlands!
After a long but beautiful car journey through winter scenes reminicent of the Narnia film, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, we arrived over the bridge to Skye.
Unfortunately by this time it was dark and we were unable to appreciate the scenery, but the plan is to get out there and explore this little island. Hopefully we wont run out of petrol ; )
Thats me home now from my whirl-wind tour of Dubai, NZ, OZ and Singapore. Where to next - and I am being serious!!! Perhaps I should spend October holidays catching up with friends and getting to see more of my own country.
