Hi guys,
Am back in London, a few days earlier than expected. To tell you why, heres whats happened along my trip round Europe:
1st stop - Alicant - lovely. no dramas
2nd stop - Barcelona - had wallet stolen on arrival, but still possess passport, so no worries
3rd stop - Nice - have been told to go to HSBC here, to try and get some cash. They cant help and only speak french. Decide to get a cash advance on mastercard. Need contact phone number to do this. Have left phone charger in alicant. Buy new one for 20 euros.
4th stop - Florence - find out stupid french man has ripped me off and phone charger doesnt work. Am desperatley needing money. Go to almost every phone shop in town. Finally get a new working! charger.
Discover I dont have enought credit to call bank to arrange transfer, or for bank to call me, as I am on international roaming. Am v unhappy.
5th stop - Rome - Ma and Pa wire me some cash. Things are looking up.
6th stop - Venice - despite hostel being miles out of town, no dramas.
7th stop - Paris - Here I leave my mp3 player at the hostel. Well I assume I leave it and email hostel in hope that they find it. V sad as I have lost all my photos from england and europe up to venice (which is still on my camera)
8th stop - Brussels - train inspector shouts at me and makes me a sad panda. Get an email from Paris hostel saying there where other thefts the night before, and perhaps I should file a police report. Cant do, as I am no longer in France. Not a happy bunny. Waffles cheer me up.
9th stop - Amsterdam - Everything seems to go smoothly. A slight fall leaves me with a sore ankle, but no real dramas.
10th stop - Prague - Everything fine, until I realise that my Camera and some cash has been stolen. Am v v v v v sad, as now I have lost all photos. Go to police station with 8 other people from my hostel, lots of people are missing lots of stuff. I decide that it is time to pack in the traveling and head back to london, in order to sort out insurance, credit cards, and an upcoming trip to Egypt.
