The journey through the tunnel and across England was uneventful and we arrived home at lunchtime.

This has been an interesting and varied trip which included visits to the main British and French palaces, several French cathedral towns and a number of Roman ruins, pilgrimages to several WW1 sites and a journey along part of the Lot, a beautiful river we had not previously explored.



We drove 2,250 miles.
