My first blog ... very exciting!
I just wanted to mark this day as my sabbatical request for 3 months off has been approved!
December 2013 - the countdown has begun, and now the exciting work starts of planning my trip.

I started this travel blog to capture my experiences and thoughts as a single traveller. My first 'proper' experience was 17 years ago now when i took a sabbatical from work and travelled around Australia for 3 months. Since then i have been to many different countries some on my own some with friends. My favourties being South Africa, Canada, New York, New Zealand, Ethiopia, San Francisco, Dubrovnik, Italy (several times) .
