The Royal Wedding...The Royal Wedding...
The Royal Wedding...

...or it?? Yes, superficially it looks like Kate and Wills...but on closer inspection it's two beheaded Bratz figures with eggs for heads! Combining the glitz of the royal wedding with the seasonality of Easter. Well done to my niece, Sara!
Just a short blog this time around to get some pictures up of our most recent trip home for a visit. No, we weren't invited to the royal wedding, but we were invited to our parents' and our friends' houses. Which is even better.

We left Saigon and landed in Heathrow...and then got straight on a National Express bus for a day-long journey almost the full length of England up to County Durham. By that evening I was standing in the fish and chip shop ordering some homely English fare with Vietnam seeming a very long way away (which, of course, it is!).

We spent the next week with my family then headed to Leeds to meet a new friend - Logan! Mark and Helen's son. Then it was on to Kate's family and a weekend trip to Center Parcs. Which was cool! See pics.....

Now we're back 'home' in Vietnam. Thanks for having us and see you at Christmas!!

Well, the pull of the East was too great, so we hot-footed back to Thailand, and then onto Vietnam. We spent a year teaching in a language centre in Haiphong in the North of Vietnam. Then we went searching for the bright lights o... full info

Crimdon's looking good nowadays!
Neil remembers when the beach there was so black that the sand looked almost like pure coal! At least it looks like the weather was nice for you and we are very jealous you had fish and chips!
