London is awesome. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone.
Cat

Actually in retrospect that was a lame entry. Yet true. London is indeed awesome, however apparantely awesome is a very Australian word. Bleh.
ANYWAY. We have been with Grim's family for quite a while now. We arrived early on the 22nd, got our bearings and headed to Bocketts farm to visit Father Christmas (who cracked a Tasmanian joke... hmm...). This was followed up by a visit to the Nork Park Club for some bingo with the oldies. Yes. Grim forgot to mention he comes from Nork. Possibly because I would have laughed at him for weeks, possibly years. In fact I am still laughing at him.
Finding out about Nork was definately a highly for me. I think Bo got over it pretty quickly.
Christmas was also brilliant. We headed to The Spring on Christmas Eve, some dodgy local pub, where I charmed the bouncers with my accent. Then I preceeded to drink a whole lot of wine, attempt to eat a kebab (with chilli sauce) watched christmas top of the pops (sang along to cliff richard and the goodies - why was I the only one to know the words to 'The Funky Gibbon'??) and fell asleep on the couch bed.
Was woken up by Grim's mum Jane earlish christmas morning, shocked to find that Grim and Bo were no longer in bed with me, but happy to see Jo was still asleep on the floor. Was also shocked to find that the kebab had been eaten and vomited up by one of the dogs. Next time I wont get Chilli Sauce.
Thats all I can be bothered saying now. Except I will say again that London is awesome. Nork is also awesome.

Good to hear you are charming the locals as usual! Keep us updated, might see you in feb, we had a 43 degree new years celebration, so you can keep your elven dress to yourselves (though the green and gold works well). If you stay off the chilli sauce ill stay off the tim tams... feeling sickly. Awesome!

slowly creeping back into contact
Hey hey. Sounds good to me, all this floating around in cooler weather. New years was slightly warm as you may have heard for us down under. The highlight of my evening was passing by a man with his arms around his girlfirend - who was crying. The man was lulling her with 'i love you, you know i love you!'again and again. They were sitting down at flinders street...it was eight o'clock!!!! Bit early for that sort of thing don't you agree? We can thank Ed for bringing to our attention just how shit relationships are. I'm sure that'll be stark consolation from his fiery abode in the dark and filthy pits of hell. The lowlight of the evening was on my way back home on the tram when I had naught but the dregs left in my Carlton stubby, then realised that someone back at the party had stubbed out their cigarette into my freshly opened beverage. My friend made a crack about the origin of the word STUBby, I on the other hand, spent the rest of the evening throwing up. All that christmas cheer cught up with me I guess. Actually, it wasn't the cigarette ash, the alcohol or the fireworks that made the throw up all night, it was the heat. Quite seriously. I've never been ill like that before. It was fucked. I'll fly away now and surrender to some nearby Germans, and let you get back to finding a job. I think I've got one. I'll find out soon enough. Say hi to that troll/elf or whatshisname...Graham! Yeah, say hi to him. Love you all and can't wait to see you again when you get back...whenever that is. Frenchboi
