We had spent most of outr nights away in the last van at folk festivals. We hope to do other things with Pic, but we will still be off to lots.

Clandon Park

First National Trust visit for Pic.

Hatchlands Park

Close to Clandon Park, nice grounds, interesting collections and amazing bluebell woods.

Fareham Easter Folk Festival

First festival for pic. Camping was very informal at the Ashcroft Arts centre that hosted a few of the events. A few minutes one way was the hotel that hosted the small concerts and the late night session. A few minutes the other way was the Ferneham Halls, where the major concerts were held.
The first night concert featured Roy Bailey, who is growing on me the more I see him.

This is some way from the house and was "lost". It was restored some years ago and the planting gre tired. It is in the process of being reinvigerated.

We liked this better, seemed more alive. It has a collection of keyboard instruments associated with famous composers. We did find our local composer (Elgar).
