'You don't have to be rich to be my girl....'

Ello ello, whats all this then gov? our blog turning into a private swiss family mcBain discussion? Its okay, crisis over....you can stop panicking.....I'm back, if only to dispell the rumor that I am a 'gentleman'. Wtf cat? My apologies for being such a slack bitch re: blogging. In my defence I am very very cold. My hands are cold. My feet are cold. My nose is cold. I am batman. I mean the other one.....fucking cold. Am still unemployed but the prospect of a job is near. Am waiting today to hear whether I will have the privillege of working at the bar 'The leg of mutton and cauliflower' or 'The Chelsea Ram'. I am torn between the two, both offering live in, minimum wage (YEAH) and a wealth of other aussie backpackers. If it comes down to it, I believe 'The leg' will win purely for its amusement value. Given the last week has been spent looking for jobs and going to interviews and that cat has given u a run down on all our sightseeing thought I'd blog about our drunken antics in the village of Guilford. Last friday Jo( graham's sister), Lindsay (jo's mate), Cat and I went to lindsay's place and introduced her to the fine art of drinking 'clonkas'. Created by an eleven year old who for his own protection shall not be named, this charming concoction consists of vodka, orange juice, coke and lemonade. After deciding that clonka's were not in fact even remotely tasty, we headed out to Guilford with our friendly taxi driver Duncan. Best of luck on your new years resolution Dunc, whatever it was. After quite a few wines at The Drink and a jug of something blue it was time to dance, so we headed outside to decide on our next destination. After much discussion and a new pick up line, 'I'm Australian can i have a chip?' we headed off to some random club where we got stuck into the peach snchapps shots. 4 for £4, Bargain. The DJ then proved his merit, with some classic 90s and awesome 80s, with highlights including Prince, Blondie and the Killers. After more drinks and some crazy dancing we removed to the toilets where I was excited to find 'fuzzy wuzzies' for sale. Enclosed in a small egg a fuzzy wuzzy was apparently a small toothbrush that could be chewed like bubble gum to achieve fresh breath. Unfortunately in my delerium at finding such a marvelous device I mistakenly thought that the fuzzy wuzzy was bubble gum. It wasn't. Spoiling my lovely fresh breath, we then partook of some burger king, served by a sheman and headed back home with duncan for tea and crumpets.
