Celebrating Britain

Well, here I am in my beloved Shropshire. Walked this morning amongst the autumn leaves and stunning trees on hills which I have explored so often before. It is less than two weeks before I leave again for South America - this time for an indefinite amount of time. I will be travelling with my friend Jane down to Patagonia in the south of Argentina and then gradually up the Andes towards Peru and perhaps beyond. After the journey with Jane, I hope to be joining two friends in Cusco, Peru where we will be running a guesthouse/therapy centre.

This is just to let you know that this blog will continue then and I hope will be updated a little more often than the last.

I would also like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to and love for all the friends and family who have so kindly and generously opened their homes and hearts to me this year. It has been the most amazing experience, wandering around the British isles and allowing the universe to blow me hither and thither like one of the autumn leaves on the attached photos taken this morning.

Thank you to each and every one of you. I have been so moved to observe the wisdom and beauty I see in you and to marvel at your many talents! I feel enormously blessed and grateful to know such wonderful people. If those who become cynical from seeing too much television or reading the opinions of newspapers could spend some time with you, they would brighten up their ideas about life.

Clearly those who perpetrate acts of violence in whatever way are in the minority in this world and I believe it is up to us who don't to shine more brightly in any way we know. Thank you for your brightness, your friendship and your love.
