For my 25th birthday Hannah had bought me a racing package with a choice of various driving sessions to choose from. I had to choose from driving a Ferrari, Lotus, Rally Car, Stock Car or single seater and of course since I was so into Formula One I just had to choose the single seater experience. I had booked myself in quite some time ago and it was unfortunate when I woke up to see a miserable rainy winter’s day. My session was very early beginning at 8AM so after an hour and a half driving to get there I was very tired and very nervous. There were about a dozen of us driving today, we heading into the briefing room to have a chat with race director about how to drive the singer seaters, rules ... read more

Hi, I am currently working in a good job, and hopegully after christmas saving money will be easier! So, here is my predicament... i want to travel! Since leaving school my one aim was to travel, but i couldnt. My parents said that at 18 i was too young to travel especially on my own. So i decided that once i graduated from Univeristy i will start my travelling plans and actually get on that plane! Unfortunately i decided that my summer was more precious than usual, i decided that working full time was not an option and to do whatever was available was. So going to festivals and mini holiday breaks became the priority. Well..... that meant that soon i was out of a job and out of money! So i had to go on ... read more

We started our Formula One weekend with a delightful 5hr car ride to Silverstone, the journey should take 1.5hrs so we were only able to make it with the assistance of our good friend Strongbro and a few select power ballads. Upon arrival Jim and I selected a nice marsh in which to pitch our tents and got to work. Craig is afraid of sleeping outdoors and had a few things to sort out that weekend so would be driving up and down as required and as agreed. Once camp was set we got to pumping our airbeds, some of us had a bit of bad luck in the leak department and spent the good part of an hour getting up to pressure. Some of us then thought it would be a good idea to play ... read more

Friday is the latest start of the weekend with us getting up at 6.30 in order to be at the track by 8.30 latstest, which we were. The pictures are taken at the last corner but we did sit at the first corner for the morning session. With the wind it was absolutely freezing. After spending the morning at the first corner my hands were numb and tingly for about an hour! A couple of brews later and I was ready to go again. This was the most interesting free practice I think I've ever watched. Everyone was really pushing and the times were really fast so the drivers were obviously trying to find the speed to get pole. Also managed a few good pictures of the new McLaren motorhome, which is pretty impressive. A ... read more

I found myself an internet café in Hunstanton that let me check out the World Superbikes at Silverstone so I knew what direction I needed to be heading in. I needed transport and I’ve found out if I give girls a sad look, they’ll do anything for me, in fact one old lady wants to take me to Wembley next week. Once again I set off on my travels, my destination Silverstone in Northamptonshire. It was another long journey and I had to stop for a break at a farm. I looked around the farm at all the different pieces of equipment, and then I saw another dog, a bit bigger than me coming towards me. I was frightened at first because I thought I was going to be worried by this dog but he ... read more
