1st GOLD Briefing Weekend

We have just come back from our first briefing weekend in Kettering, Northamptonshire which was great fun! This is the first time we have been together as a group and was great getting to know each other better. The weather was crazy on the day we arrived; and we all had to struggle through the snow to reach the John Lowther Centre, but we made it, and in fact made the most of the snow over the weekend with outside games and snowball fights.

All of the GOLD groups were together, so we played a few games getting to know each other as a whole group, but also spend a lot of time in our individual groups getting to know one another. We decided on a number of things within our group such as our roles, our team uniform, and our team badge.

We all went a way knowing a lot more about our project and about the other members of our team. It all seems a lot more realistic now!
