Just having a bit of a 'dry run' with this blogging business to make sure all our equipment is working. We are off to France on Friday to the Arras Festival and then driving on down to Grandcamp-Maisy in Normandy to stay with Dominique and her family via helpx. We work for 5 hours per day and in return we get fed, watered and accommodation! We are 62 and 55, respectively, we have never done this before - what could possibly go wrong?!

"Elliam" - it's a clumsy amalgamation of Elaine and William - although no-one ever calls me William, I'm Bill. So a pretty rubbish name really, but hey, that's what we've got and there's no changing it. The lovely wife Elaine and I are taking time out to see something of the world by travelling through SE Asia, Oceania and S America, starting Sept 2011. We've done some tourist travel before, but this is our first proper travelling adventure.
