So we were back home with the family and had a busy couple of weeks to look forward to. First up of course though was to go to Michelle's Parents' for a traditional Sunday dinner, boy had we missed this, and a selection of cakes to finish, perfect, surrogate brother came down with Reis and Jemma too Priority on the list for Michelle was to raid the wardrobes, time to wear something different for a change and put away the clothes from the last 6 months.... Visit to the container in order to check it was all ok..... Thank God there were no mouldy shoes!!! With shoes picked it was true dilemma time.... Hello Mates! Well it has seemed like a long journey and we are only 8 weeks into it! Hopefully all the technical stuff is over and we can really begin to enjoy England and Europe. Our house is feeling more like a home everyday. We finally have high speed internet so that gives me more to do during the day. I thought I would write a blog to tell you a bit of what goes on around here. We live in the village of Scotter. We love Scotter! It has 3 pubs and Chinese take out, what more can you ask for?! Hello All~ We took a small tour of the countryside on Saturday. Sadly it is very similar to Kansas (but much greener) so it wasn't as interesting as I had hoped. We did see Koi's jobsite from a distance--its in a "dodgey" area--glad we're not living in Immingham! We will have to venture farther away to see better landscaping. However, it was very exciting to see all the different architecture and old buildings. We visited our first Cathedral. It is in the city of Lincoln, about 30 minutes from where we are staying. The cathedral is appropriately named, Lincoln Cathedral. You never really realize how old, old is, until you see it. It was an amazing site. So beautiful and so huge!
