Arrived in London on the 26th after my plane was delayed a couple of hours. Spent the past few days happily being educated in all things domestic. Auntie Helen has given me a crash course on how to make bread, pizza, pasta, and also how to garden, and how to knit. I'm no good at any of it, but it's been tons of fun so far!
I'm extremely conscious of the way I talk right now - some British affectations are kind of rubbing off on me, from listening to relatives, and watching BBC/variation all the time. Rachel and Stephen tried to explain to me what a "chav" is, but I still don't get it.
Okay, going to go make more tea now.
