Long story, sometimes it takes a while to wee particularly when someone is pestering you. Tanya took this sneaky pic when I was unaware !!!
Travelled down to Bournemouth Hospital where Tanya was now posted. Stayed with her in her staff accomodation, very basic but comfortable.
First night we just ate and slept as we were both knackered. Second night we decided to go and see a pantomine as it was the festive season, Cinderella if I remember correctly. There was the usual not so funny jokes (but the kids loved it) but Tanya and I did manage to get out our seats and do some silly dances when the singing started.
Sunday we decided to get up early and head off to the docks to catch the ferry over to the Isle of Wight. Never been before so we weren't sure what to do and see, but we ended up having a nice drive around the island, some really stunning scenery and we took some great pics but unfortunately there with Tanya and I don't have them.
Had a short stop in a small town (can't remember name) and timed it well as a band went marching through the streets. Of course we stopped at some shops and Tanya tried on yet more hats !!!
Though it was a beautiful clear sky and brilliant

Could no longer look into the sun
sunshine it was still November and it was damn freezing. We stopped several times to take in the lovely scenery and take pictures. This one to the right, I was desperate for a leak, and Tanya was supposed to disappear and give me some privacy. She pestered me for a while, and when I thought she had cleared off and left me in peace, she sneaked and took this picture. I only knew about it when she kindly emailed it to me, and said that her parents had found it funny too. Very funny Tanya :))
Visited the 'Needles' which is basically a row of pointy rocks jutting out to sea, many a ship has been lost on those !!!
Caught the ferry back across the Solent and drove back to Bournmouth where we stopped and had the biggest steak/kidney pie I have ever seen. Obviously no room for dessert.
As I had a long drive back to Chester, had a small nap before driving the long road back, how I hate miles and miles of tarmac.
This was sadly the last trip I did with Tanya, sincerity became an issue !!!.
