Just before I flew to Canada to see Allison I went down to Southampton to see my Mum. Among other things we had a lovely kayaking trip up the River Hamble in the evening and had a leisurely paddle. Gorgeous especially as it was followed by fish & chips and toasted marshmallows on the chiminea - sod the diet!
