Why is backpacking expensive?

K kids. I was just looking back at when I last wrote and I honestly can't remember what I've done since then. I remember that our last venue was Oxford...but in regards to work thats about all I remember.... I think I've lost a week or so. When I find it I'll let you all know.
So anyway, after much deliberation (aka whinging and bitching) I decided to take off the first venue this week. Which means Ill get a hotel room in Reading instead of having to commute and hopefully I can finish the tour happily ever after. But I do miss out on Cardiff, which Im a bit upset about. But I think I've had enough Welsh experience, if through nothing else than watching countless hours of Big Brother. Which, by the way, is crap over here. Nowhere near as good as our Australian version. People think Davina is great - they've obviously never heard of Gretski.
Sorry, I can't believe I got addicted to Big Brother over here. But I did.
At the moment I am trying to plan a trip around Europe. I have sorted out Africa and Egypt (I think!!) and am just working on Europe. Its so damn expensive. Stupid. And I had to spend £50 (thats $AU120) on malaria tablets today. I dont even want malaria tablets. But I also bought a sleeping bag, which made me happy.
But I think I'm going to run out of money and that will be bad. But I dont care, as long as I am out of Fimble Valley, I think I'll be a much happier person. If I run outta cash, my back up plan of selling my body might just have to happen.
Anyway, im writing rubbish, so Ill be off to try and find that lost week of my life.
