Our first Olympic Swimming experience

Last night we experienced our first Olympic swimming event. We had tickets! Now, please be aware we were in row 55 - think of row 55 at Camp Randall ... And up along the wall in section 413 - we were not in the last row, but were up pretty high and could not see the medal stands - i am simply trying to point out where we sat as we have tickets in different locations over the next week. And believe me, i was absolutely THRILLED to be there !!

As matter of fact, it was the first of the Michael Phelps vs Ryan Lochte battles we have been anxiously looking forward to. In the end, it turned out to be less than advertised as Ryan Lochte looked good and Michael Phelps who barely qualified in the first place, appeared to be dragging in the backstroke and breaststroke and finished out of the medals for a rare defeat finishing in fourth place at the Olympics. Would I trade places with him ? Hmmmm, yes!
