June 8, 2012: Pre-Departure

Well, today is the big day. In less than 12 hours, I will be on a flight across the pond over to London, where I will land at around 12:00noon. (Now, I suppose I should finish packing...) I do not start my internship until Tuesday, so I am looking forward to having time to explore for the first couple days.

To be honest, I am crazy nervous. I have lived on my own before in school, and have been abroad before, but not as independently as this - living on my own for 8 weeks in another country?! This will be a new experience. I will be keeping records of my experiences abroad on this blog. (I am new at this blog "thing," but bear with me, I will try my best.)
