Well after spending two days in this city, I'm beginning to realize why everyone travels using the Tube (London Underground). Today alone, I walked over 9 miles. I took a boat tour on the River Thames, saw the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace and spent the rest of the afternoon in the British Museum. I have to say the food has been average at best. Yesterday, I had some fish and chips and today I had some Indian cuisine. I really hope these don't become the staple foods of my diet. The hostel I'm staying at is definitely different than anything I've every experienced. Imagine a room the size of a Markely dorm room (10'x11') and then put 9 people in there. Needless to say its crowded. The people I've met however, have all been really friendly. Last night I met a guy named Mark from Montreal while having a few beers (they say "cheers, mate" its so cool!) and watching Friends in the lobby (you can't escape american tv/movies/music/ect.) Turns out he just spent the past 8 months working in a hotel in the Lake District in northern England and is now traveling around europe for a month before going home. Everyone here travels a ton, its not uncommon to see kids probably 16 years old traveling around in groups without any adults. As much as I've liked London, I think it will be nice to get out into the country a bit. I'm heading out to Oxford tomorrow where I will have my own room and be able to take a much needed shower. Well anyway thats about it for now. I think I fancy a cup a tea

Glad to hear that London is treating you well mate. There are a ton of people from England at GS and they all say "cheers" so funny. We should bring it back to AA.
