BenNot that one silly!
Ok, I finally have an outlet to keep everyone up to date on my trip . . . sorry for the delay. So, to catch up . . . I moved out of my house, drove to LA, dropped off my car at Dads (thanks dad!) and flew out of LAX to London.
I spent 4 nights in London and learned what it feels like to have money vanish. The exchange rate is crazy! But London was a great place to start, everyone speaking English, a city similar to New York, and a super easy underground system. Oh, and great weather, I was lucky.
I was a complete tourist, seeing how many sites I could fit in each day, did the bus tour through the city, toured the Tower of London, Crown Jewels, Buckingham Palace, all the little neighborhoods in the city, went to Le Miserables, and tried to pretend like I was actually into football (soccer).
I'm flying out of London in August so I'll spend a couple more days there on my way out.
