Strong Girls
Carla and Rosalyn trying to prove how strong they are!Getting quite used to this diary thing and with very little to do at work (1 day left) thought i would update after one of our weekends in London to see Ben & Rosalyn.
They live in Primrose Hill in a Flat in a converted Georgian house and this was our first visit to their new pad and a great weekend it was.
I am getting quite aware of ramming our flight plans down the same ears so it was nice to update people who seemed genuinely interested and plans were even hatched for a potential meet up in Thailand (watch this space).
After a very 'North London Lunch' of mixed salad leaves, balsamic and cured meats (I may mimic but i loved every bite) we headed of to hang by the thames and enjoy the sunshine before spending as long as we could manage in the Tate Modern before me and Ben lowered ourselves to a game of BOGEYS ala Dick N Dom.
Lovely Thai meal in some crackin pub in PrimHill followed by a few beers in Camden and finished the night of with some Karaoke face off back at the flat where Carla once again proved her word for word knowledge of ICE ICE BABY (she even holds the Mic like Vanilla) before off to bed with the sounds of Rosalyn shouting my new catchphrase TOILET!!!!!!
Lazy Sunday morning, quick browse in Camden before back to the same pub where we had booked a table to watch the footy (england V Ecuador) and it proved to be how all afternoons in Primrose Hill should be ie watching footy in Sadie Frosts favourite pub sitting next to Rhys Iffans and catching Jonny Lee Miller speaking to his Columbian mates in the toilets (im serious) and just to make it even more sureal that bloke who plays Bricktop in Snatch was having a meal with his family
Least to say it wasn’t quite the same as getting covered in cheap beer at Mood !!! in CMK
England won (just) and then back to MK with a very strong desire to live in NW1 when we return from our travels. Hopefully Ben, Rosalyn and India will allow us to be their neighbours
