Hey guys, i know i haven't writtin in a while, i just never got much of a chance to get to a computer. So we got on the train to go to Germany for Oktober fest. The train was ok, we got beds to sleep on. It was an overnight train so it went realy quick. Once we got to Munich we booked into the camping ground. It was a really big camping ground and there were hundreds of tents. All the tents were so close together that it was hard to get to your own. It was even worse when you were drunk cause your just tripping over everyones tent cords. The tent ground seemed to be divided, Aussies on one side, and Kiwis on the the other. On the first day we went to this thing called 100 club, it was at the campsite when the vans tour goes. So its like a game, 100 shots of beer in 100 minutes. About 20 guys went in it, and one girl. There were about 3 or 4 judges. It seems easy enough but there are rules. During the 100 mintes you can't pee, spew, stand or touch your face, no shirts
or undies allowed. There were funnels, and what ever the jusges but in the funnels you had to eat/drink. All sorts of different food and well.. you dont wanna know what else (lets just say body substances - it was gross). Every couple of minutes the judges would just make them skull a funnel of beer. So they all get very drunk. Also the judges go around throwing powder and chilli into their eyes and they just gotta sit there and take it since they can't touch thier face. Only about 5 or 6 made it to the end, and what do they win? They get to pee on the judges. Yuk. That night everyone got drunk at the campsite, It was pretty packed. Then stumbled to their tent ready for the next day. The next day was the opening day at Oktoberfest. We (Josh, me and a few friends) got there a couple hours early just to get a seat since it gets extremly packed. So at 12 midday there was a speech, parade and out came the beers. The wenches could carry like 8 stines at once. I was told that there would be something else other then
beer to drink, but that was wrong, the wa ONLY beer. So i got tired of hanging around the drunk people and went back to the campsite early. Everyone else came bank about 12 midnight very drunk. The next day i didnt really feel like going so i stayed at the campsite while everyone else went back to oktoberfest. But the next day i decided to go. This time i snuck vodka in with me. Oktoberfest was very big, and hot. Heaps of cool rides and stalls. And thousands of people. So after everyone was drunk, me and josh went for a walk, we saw a funhouse and thought it would be fun to go in. I swear this fun house was just made for drunk people. You had to wear these 3D goggles and there were mirrors and water and moving things all over the place, it was like it was made to hurt people. I got some bruises on those things that are like mouse wheels that dont stop. I got half way and stacked it, it was just going too fast for me to get back on my feet and i just kept sliding along with it.
Then Josh come on and the same thing happened to him. We were just like a tangled mess of drunk people trying to craw out of this wheel, it was pretty funny. So after that we called it a night since we were a bit banged up. The next day we went back again and had some more drinks and went on some rides, that was the last night. A couple days later we left our tent behind and moved on to Amsterdam. Josh, Bek, Alli, Jess and I went to Amsterdam. There, we visited the Anne Frank house and we went to the heniken factory - that was pretty cool, there was some funny stuff in there. We also wanted to do a bike ride tour. But we couldn't find where we were ment to go so we just decided to hire some bikes and go for a ride by our selves. So i don't know if everybody knows, but im a bit uncoordinate on a bike. In Amsterdam, everyone rides a bike so there are bike lanes everywhere, and you gotta make sure that your going the right way. Well, we were turning a corner and... somehow... me
being me.. i ended up on the other side of the road going the wrong way. So here i am trying to cross a busy road with bikes coming at me from the other way, i finally made it across. But that wasn't the worst of it, a little while later we were going over a bridge and as we were coming down, there were a couple of poles there, yea you can see where this is going lol. At first i was going left, the i thought i would go right instead, by this time it was too late and i went straight into the pole, myself and the bike got wrapped around the pole and i scraped my elbow. All i could do was laugh at myself for being such a dimwit. (The bike was ok). While in Amsterdam we visit the sex museum which was interesting but kinda boring. We also went into the red light district that night. I was suprised when i seen the girls in the windows (i assume you know what im talking about), i thought it was going to be a little more discreet. So i think that was all in Amsterdam.
From there we got a plane to London, which is now my new home. For the first week here we didn't have a job or place to stay, we stayed in a hotel. A couple days later we found a job in Streatham which is where i live now. Its about 20 mins out of London city. We found jobs in a pub. Josh is a chef and i work on the bar. We get to live here for free. We also get free food and internet. We still get paid, minimum wage though, but its still good. The managers here are also a young couple, besides them, there are 3 other people that live here. One of them is an Aussie girl my age who works on the bar too. Her room is next door to mine, we watch nieghbours together. But she leaves to go back to Aus in 2 weeks. So thats about it for now, i have to go to work. Miss you all. Bye bye xoxoxox
