Today I asked the concierge where to go to see what London was really like and the first thing he told me to do was go to a Chealsea game and luckily there was one that night. So for the rest of the day I went touring around the area looking at things that caught my fancy, one of which was a huge ferris wheel that I found out was named the Eye of London, so I decided to get a ticket to it and had to wait in line for a long time but once I got on it was amazing how high up I was. From my view I could see all around me, and could see the see Big Ben, the Thames and the many areas of London. What amazed me most was that it was so huge that it actually took a long time to go around. Once I finished that I went back to my hotel and had dinner just before I left for a Chelsea. The game was incredible mostly becuase I love and appreciate soccer, but also because I had never seen a game outside of MLS and no offense but U.S. soccer doesn't come close to comparing to soccer in Europe. However fun it was, the annoying thing was that it was cloudy all day and also kind of cold, because it is normally a temperate climate and is famous for it always raining. The food was a little strange there and I think I will be glad to get back to Dominos pepperoni and sausage pizza, rather than fish and chips which are not a favorite of mine. I think that the train was rather useful as it allowed me to not have to use a cab. I'm glad there is not a language barrier like there would be in other countries, this made it easier to get around and look in stores for a specific thing like a Chelsea jersey. I think that I would rather have the government in the United States rather than a Constitutional Monarchy because it is easier to be a part of the process. The biggest thing that London exports is agriculture but not much else and has little of it's former power. In fact it used to rule most of the world under it's empire, but it has lost it power over time. Today I have learned a lot of things about London and the UK.
