More good news and bad news
We found out that our insurance company is going to reimburse out accommodation and food up to $2,000 and all of our accommodation cost for the accommodation that we cannot get to but have payed for in Canada.
We went to a nearby 1000 year old forest today. As we drove in to the park we say that they were going to charge us £5 to park so we decided to par elsewhere as we backed out of the car park we ran into another car is was a small bump without much damage but means that we now have to pay the insurance excess on our hire car and then claim that back on travel insurance. I have never used my travel insurance in my life and now I have two claims in a week. It never rains it pours. At least we are safe.
