Tommorrow, early morning, i depart the UK for the somewhat more tropical climate of malaysia. Leaving the chavs and wags of england! A 48 hour journey that will take me from heathrow to bangkok. Then from bangkok to kuala lumpur, and then onto kota kinabalu in the borneo province of sabah.

Fully stocked up by £30 of cheapness spent down my local primark! Clothes fit for a king! Ready for the mosquitoes, bearded pigs, angry ants and oranguatans! I land at kota kinabalu practically at midnight on the 12th.

On the 13th i already have my first piece of itinery planned. Im going to be climbing one of the highest points in south east asia, otherwise known as mt kinabalu. Its 4950m high up and hopefully i wont get any altitude sickness! and apparently the climb is relatively easy but we will see about that!

then after that i also have a jungle tour, only for 3 days so we shall see how that one goes, and ive also got some scuba diving planned for shore as borneo has some great wall dives!

Also starting to try and learn a little malaysian, but from me being an essex boy, they probably speak better english than me! Also growing my beard so i look like a bit of a mentalist!

Selamat siang! Al XXXXXXXXXX
