travels around cumbria

we live in otley ,just north of leeds, uk.
last weekend we thought up a little trip,just a few hours drive,
when people talk about he english lake district they often talk about lake windermere ,keswickor grasmere.
i thought for a change why not go around the west lakes araea.
for a change try ulverston-milom-whitehaven then finish of at carlise.
a different way to see the lake district
