After leaving Whitby on Tuesday 30 Sept, we went to the Lakes District. We stayed at a B&B in Ambleside. We went on a boat trip on Lake Windermere. The lake is 10 and half miles long! It rains 250 days of the year up in the lakes!, and it RAINED while we were there.
I did some bowling in Lancashire and visited where my great great grandmother (Abigail Tyson) was born.
