Libby's Birthday

What a great time by all at Libby's surprise party. She knew nothing about it, her boyfriend (Dave) made out he was taking her on a caving weekend (hope she wasn't disappointed !!) Unknown to her about 30 of her closest friends had a barbeque planned at her house. We were all to meet at one end of her street with food/drink in hand. I had delivered my barbeque the night before whilst Libby was at work and hid it in the shed at the bottom of the garden. Her boyfriend packed all the caving gear in the car and they left, exiting at the top end. The signal was given and we all charged up the street to get everything set. Poor neighbours must have thought there was a raid going down lol.
Libby was returned to the house, with the poor excuse that Dave had forgotten his wallet. When she entered the house she had her suspicions that something was up, especially when her eagle eye caught some bread rolls left out lol. Her face was a picture when 30 people jumped up and cheered happy birthday :))
The evening was beautiful with probably the hottest day of the year with temps reaching 80f. The barbeque went well, and my whole salmon marinaded in a spicy mexican sauce went down a storm. Though it took 1 hour to cook on the barbie, it all disappeared in 15 minutes. Glad you all liked it folks :))
Then we used to last of the heat from the barbie to have toasted marshmallows....yum yum
We enjoyed good music/chat and somehow with full stomachs and a little worse for wear with alcohol, managed to play Twister in the garden. It was hilarious, especially when my best buddies son 'Joel' only 12yrs had a womans backside in his face, and I quote from him 'Oh I don't like that' lol. I also had a close shave with Fiona's boobies squashing the side of my face, thanks for that :))
A great night by all...many thanks Dave for putting the evening together, I know it came with some stress.
