Hi again everyone! It feels like ages since we posted our last blog in May. Last year we had tons of blog posts because we were very excited to share all of our travelling adventures with you when we visited amazing countries like Italy, France, Germany, etc. We haven't done as much travelling this year due to the fact that we're saving up our pennies for our wedding! We can hardly believe that our wedding is less than 2 months away!!! We are so excited and very much looking forward to seeing everyone again. Despite the fact that we haven't travelled as much this year, we have still had a fantastic year abroad and had the chance to visit Ireland, Belgium, Scotland, Wales and a couple more places in England. We'll soon be packing our stuff to move home in 2 weeks! The past 2 years have flown by incredibly fast! We've told our students at Buckingham School that we won't be returning to teach them next year. A lot of students are quite sad, as are we, but it will be nice to be home with family and friends again and start the next chapter in our lives together.
So, you might be wondering what happens when Will and Bri come home? We have both been hired to teach at Appleby College in September (a private school, grades 7-12, in Oakville). We are really excited to have gotten lucky enough to get jobs at the same school again! It's very convenient and it's nice to be together so often and be able to share teaching ideas and resources with one another since we teach the same subject! So, once we get home we will be looking for an apartment in Oakville. We plan to buy a house eventually, but not for another two or three years. We're just kind of enjoying life as it comes and we'll figure things out as we go!
Last week we were thrilled to have Will's mom and brother come and visit us for a week here in England! They stayed with us from Friday, June 19 until Monday, June 29. We took them to London to see the sights for a weekend. Will and I still had to work during the week, so they kept themselves busy visiting other places such as Stratford-Upon-Avon, Bath & Stonehenge and Paris, France. It was really great to see family again since we haven't seen anyone since we returned to England last August. On the Friday Will's mom and brother arrived, we brought them back to our house so that they could relax after a long flight. Will's mom opened her suitcase to reveal 10 boxes of Kraft Dinner, a massive bag of crisps (Ketchup & All Dressed - we don't have these flavours in England), and a big bag of chocolate (Oh Henry bars, M&Ms & Kit Kats - we don't have Oh Henry's in England, but we do have M&Ms and Kit kats). Wow....what a feast of treats! Bri is trying her best to stay away from them so that her wedding dress still fits in August, but it's not working very well...too much temptation! Hmm...maybe a couple of extra runs on a treadmill will be in order!
We hope you enjoy the photos from our visit with Will's family. We'll be home in 2 short weeks! We love you and miss you all!

Will & Briana Truong
We moved to England in August, 2007. We had just graduated university and were looking for our first teaching jobs, so we decided to venture overseas to travel around Europe and start our careers at the same time! While living in England we travelled and saw more places than we ever imagined would be possible! In addition to our travelling adventures, we got engaged on Christmas Day, 2007 and were married on August 22, 2009! What a wonderful way to spend those two years of our lives. We never thought we would have the opportunity to work and travel abroad. If you look around our blog you'l... full info
